This is not a “watch and learn” internship. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll work directly on projects that support growth, brand awareness, content, campaigns, and customer engagement.

About the Role

As a Marketing Intern at Theneo, you’ll help create and execute marketing initiatives that reach real users and customers. You’ll work closely with the team to support content creation, social media, campaign planning, market research, and growth experiments.

You’ll get hands-on startup experience and learn how marketing works inside a fast-moving tech company.

What You’ll Do

You will help with:

• Creating content for social media, email, blog posts, and marketing campaigns
• Supporting campaign ideas for internship, product, and customer growth
• Researching target audiences, competitors, trends, and market opportunities
• Helping improve Theneo’s online presence and brand messaging
• Tracking basic campaign performance and sharing insights
• Brainstorming creative ways to reach new users and customers
• Working with the team on real marketing projects from start to finish

The Opportunity: Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Software Engineer who will play a key role in driving our platform's development. As a Lead Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, guide a team of talented engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Mentor, inspire, and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Architecture & Design: Architect, design, and implement core backend services, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and robustness.
• End-to-End Development: Oversee the full lifecycle of software development, from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• API Design & Integration: Lead the development of scalable and well-documented APIs, and ensure seamless integration with third-party services.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Maintain high standards of software quality through comprehensive testing, profiling, and peer reviews.
• Performance & Reliability: Ensure the reliability and performance of the platform by implementing monitoring, logging, and optimization techniques.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business goals and prioritize engineering work.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Extensive Experience: 7+ years of experience in backend development, with expertise in Typescript, Node.js, Express.js, React, and MongoDB.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams, with a strong focus on fostering growth and collaboration.
• Strong Problem-Solving: A creative and strategic problem solver who is data-driven and comfortable making decisions that balance speed with quality.
• Expertise in APIs: In-depth experience in building and scaling backend APIs and services, with a strong understanding of API architecture and best practices.
• Agile & Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with agile methodologies, and skilled at prioritizing tasks.
• Bonus Skills: Familiarity with Python is appreciated but not required. Experience with generating or working with API documentation tools is highly beneficial.
